    I purchased this pan for my wife for Christmas. On Christmas eve she was making a bowl Mac-N-cheese and was looking for a pot to make the cheese sauce in. I gave her this present and she used it to make the cheese sauce. It was incredible how easily the sauce poured out of it and cleaned up.

    This is a great pan for cooking for 2 people, very heavy, and performs well I thought 84.95 was a little pricey though!

    For some reason, the 'non-shallow' suace pans are quite a bit more expensive than the shallow pans are... In any case this pan has a heavy bottom, great finish, top quality pan, plus the clear glass lid allows you to keep an eye on what's cooking!

    We haven't had this sauce pan very long, but so far, it performs well. It replaces the same-sized Calpholon pan (anodized interior, exterior) that we bought many years ago. The constant use we made of that pan resulted in gradual loss of the interior bottom anodization, to the point that it was very difficult to wash to a clean state. We are assuming the interior non-stick coating of this product will outlive us 70+ years old users.

    The finish on this plan is great - cleans up with hot water and a cloth - no sticking. It's a great size for sauces, too. I would purchase this finish again.
