    It is a good pan, very sturdy. My only complaint is that the handles get very hot, but otherwise I would definitely recommend this (especially for the price!)

    Wow - the best pan ever. On my first use I browned and then finished in the oven with lid on. It is exceptional. Use also for everyday cooking and just love it. One of your reviews mentions the glass lid making noises when cooking. Found that is due to the fact that the lid is glass and expands and contracts when heating and cooling. Would highly recommend this pan in the 12-in size. It's perfect! Thank you!

    Only had it 2 weeks and it has been used stovetop 50% of that time. Have not used it in the oven yet - the main reason I purchased it. It is so sturdy I feel it will do fine for oven cooking also.

    I love an everyday pan and used my last one to death!! Of course, it wasn't a Calphalon and didn't last . I expect this one to do everything I ask of it and more!!

    I have had an everyday pan for at least 10 years. It was getting tired. This pan was my replacement. The pan is not as heavy as my first one. But it heated up quickly and I love the glass lid. As before I will be using it everyday. I love this pan!

    First I have to note the pan was delivered 4 days ahead of fhe scheduled delivery date. I sure have no complaint there. I was pleased with the pan, but not thrilled. It appears to be well made, but there are protruding rivet heads inside of where the handles are attached. They have s smooth finish, and wash easily, so the only minus is looks. I have cooked with it several times, heat distribution is even, the non stick surface works great, and clean up is fast and easy. The glass lids is very nice. This pan is just not as heavy and solid as the Anolon everyday pan which I purchased from this site about one year ago. The Anolon has a thick copper layered botton, and the handle rivets do not protrude into the pan interior, unlike this pan. I'd give the Anolon an A and this pan a B.

    This item is fine, we have used Calphalon for years, however I called with a question and the phone rep was so rude and condesending that I sent the other 2 itmes back. Her attitude stinks... "go ahead and send it back... WE DON'T CARE"

    We had a similar pan that we bought 8 years ago. The inside of the pan wore out so food began to stick to it. This pan was bigger than the 12 inch everyday pan. I would have liked to be able to get the same pan as we had but we do love this pan.

    I have a 10 in everyday pan and a 12 in chef's skillet and it seems to be up to the level of performance I've come to expect of calphalon products. My only gripe is that it is not the same heavy duty quality as the other 2 pans. I got the 12 in everyday pan cause the 10 in just wasn't large enough for my cooking needs and the 12 in chefs skillet handle is so long it doesn't fit into my oven. I noticed in writing this that the 12 in skillet is a One Nonstick and the 12 in everyday is a Comtemporary. Not sure what the 10 in everyday is, I suspect a One Nonstick also. So be warned to look closely at which line you get so you won't be disappointed. All in all I do believe I'll be getting years of cooking pleasure out of this. Thanks, John

    Have a 10 in version so I thought it would be nice to have a 12 in non-stick. Works well although it seems thinner(lighter) than my smaller pan. Hope it holds up as well as the 10 in.

    The Everyday Pan is great - especially with two smaller handles on the sides. It's my favorite pan and I use it almost every day. The lid could have been better. The designer handle sticks out too far and prevents me from letting lid rest upside-down with handle inside the pan (like on my older model) when storing in my kitchen cabinet. Please consider this when you plan your next model. I'm an avid cook with limited kitchen space.

    Nice pan - just wish it was bigger

    We have a 13" everyday pan that has seen much use and better days. We got this as a replacement. Wish it was 13", but at 12" it is still a nice pan. I use a cloth inside the pan so that the lid handle won't scratch the pan when storing the lid upside-down in the pan.
