The Connoisseur Oven Thermometer measures oven temperatures from 150-600 degrees F. The large thermometer has a 2 1/2" viewing dial for easy reading, with stainless steel construction and silicone grips for safe and easy handling. Versatile three-position alignment allows the thermometer to hang, stand, or clip to an oven rack. Since most oven temperatures vary from top to bottom and side to side, place an oven thermometer next to food while cooking to ensure the most actuate reading of cooking temperature.

Our premium line of Connoisseur thermometers represent the epitome of the Taylor reputation. With its distinctive look, this series clings to all things culinary. This line features full stainless steel cases designed with uniquely shaped, oversized dials, which avoid counter roll-off. Plus, the silicone accents around the dials aid in gripability and add a splash of color. All are calibrated with pinpoint accuracy to provide quality results day after day. Heritage, precision accuracy, innovation, style -- no other thermometer line combines all four.

I have purchased several other thermometers and so far this one is the most accurate and I haven't burned or over cooked anything since using it

Elegant and effective

Elegant and effective in the oven. It has three mounting positions, but I usually just sit it up on the grill on the front-right of the oven so I can see it through the glass.

Works well, but 3 cons

Works really well but it has 3 cons (for me). One--Is too small to read easily --wish it was larger or had more magnifying cover. Two--Does not stand up well unless put sidewise (facing side of oven instead of front) or frontwise attached to center bar of rack, making it even harder to read. Finally, I wish it had markings on it such as

Good product, good value.

I purchased this item for my wife for Christmas - I'm such a romantic. She does a LOT of baking (bread, etc) and was never confident in our oven temp. She uses this item all the time to correct for our oven temperatures and really likes it. Cheaper than a new oven.

It was discovered that my oven temperature was off by over 80 degrees. No wonder I was burning everything. The repair man said that everyone who uses their oven a lot should own an oven thermometer to make sure they are baking at correct temps. This one is perfect, I have it positioned so its out of the way of the pan (there are at least 3 different options for positioning) but I can still see it through the window. I am quite the chef again! Great product!

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Actual oven temperatures can often vary wildly from what the dial says. Use an oven thermometer and make sure your 350 degree setting is really 350 degrees.
