very heavyweight - cookies brown nicely and clean up in the dishwasher is a brease with absolutely no sign of rust or warping. burnt acorn squash came off easily. raised edges make it easy to stack pans crosswises for cooling or decorating cookies.

I LOVE this pan, I have been looking for a pan that would not bend and warp when baking cookies etc. I thought maybe it was my own fault for not buying a more expensive and better brand. So I bought 2 of the expensive Calphalon Jelly Roll pans that said WILL NOT WARP, and the first time in the oven I heard the pop, looked in the oven and it was bent. Goes back flat when cool but bends every time used, I have used the Chicago Metallic pan several times now and not once has it warped, I WILL be buying another. One reviewer said she was not happy that it was changing color and getting dark spots. But it says in the instructions that it will do that in time. That’s OK with me, I just want it to lay FLAT and it does. I always use Silicone mats for baking cookies so I do not know about sticking. But it cleans up great when I use for other types of baking. I do not put the pan in the dishwasher but it cleans up very easy. For the price, this is a great deal.

It has performed just as I expected. It's the perfect size for my oven (which is smaller than most 'regular sized' ovens). No complaints whatsoever and I'm actually thinking about getting another one!

I saw this reviewed on America's Test Kitchen on PBS as a kitchen must-have, so I ordered it, and I am glad I did because it comes in handy in many ways I did not expect. I might even make a jelly roll in it some day, who knows?

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When freezing summer berries, spread them out in a single layer on baking sheets and freeze overnight. Then, transfer to freezer bags for storage. Freezing them individually before bagging them prevents the berries from freezing together, which means they'll be recipe-ready whenever you are.
