    I purchased this because I needed and "intermediate" size saute pan -- na dI love the hard anodized calphalon products. I do wish for the larger sizes that you hadn't started putting long handles on them (instead of handle grips -- not sure what else to call them). Those of us who live in urban dwellings have limited space for storage and the long-handled versions do NOT WORK for small kitchens even in "up-scale" urban dwellings.

    This pan is essential for making risotto. I had another 3 quart calphalon pan which was over 20 years old so I had to replace it.I searched for quite a while to find a 3 quart pan. Size matters.

    I have a glass top stove and wanted a saute pan to fit my burner. This one does perfectly. I had ordered one that was similar to this--also 3 quart but it was too small for the burner. I am very happy with this pan.
