I was looking for this size pot just like my calphalon set. This is not as heavy as my others but it seemed to say seared and thought it was the same kind. I do like the pot though and will use it.

nice size and shape

I've used this once for a stove top recipe - it performed flawlessly. I do wish this was the thicker typical calphalon - it feels light weight and I know it is represented as a casserole, but I'd like it better if it was more like a dutch oven.

Pot is not commercial grade

Upon purchasing this product it was listed as a commercial grade product. As I have owned calphalon commercial grade pots a soon as I unpacked it I knew it was not. It is thin light and did not have the sturdy structure I am accustomed to. My greatest dissapointment came when I turned the lot over and found it was made in China. I was actually saddened by this, but it offered an explanation as to the poor quality of this pot. Will be returning this product.

A little disappointed

When i ordered this it said hard anodized, and I assumed it would be heavier like my other Calphalon was a little disappointed at the weight but it's still a great cooker
