For anyone who has been frustrated with splashing water into their creme brulee or pot de creme, this is a fantastic product. The handles make it much easier to handle, and make for a much smoother trip between oven and counter. Wonderful product & great value.

This equipment takes all of the drama out of making creme brulee and custard! Before, I had to put a dish towel in a pan, put the custard cups in and then carefully pour in water, trying not to splash it into the custard. Often water would splash onto them when I was lifting them in or our of the oven. With this system, you just pour the water into the pan and lower the custards into it. They are held high enough and the pan is just the right size so there is very little splashing. Then when they are done, you just lift them out. Couldn't be easier.

I was afraid the pan wasn't going to be very sturdy, but it turned out to be great! This set was a gift for my husband and he loves it. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a creme brulee set.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

There are few things more frustrating than when you're about to bake a cake or pie and have all your ingredients ready, but then realize you don't have the right kind of pan. You can prevent this from happening by keeping an 'inventory' of the different sizes and types of baking pans you have at home. It can hard to remember if that pan way in the back of the cupboard is 8" x 8" or 9" x 9", so make a quick list and tape it to the inside of your cupboard door. That way you can easily check if you're properly equipped for a recipe- before it's too late.
