I was very disappointed to find "Made in CHINA" written on the box! I bought Lodge, because I thought it was US made. It was not advertised as such. I gave the pot to charity and I hope that it does not "poison" anyone with lead or cadmium! Please add the maker of the product which you are selling.

This item not American made as it appears, made in China. Very disappointed this fact not clear on this website. I returned the product. We have no confidence that there is no lead in Chinese made products.

I really love this dutch oven. It's a great size ......would have given 5 stars.....but it's a little heavy to lift.

I bought a 3 qt. Lodge dutch oven last year and love it but it's too small for my recipes. This one is just as good. For those of us who can't afford Le Creuset, Lodge is the brand to buy.

lovely addition to my cookware

Have used this just once since receiving it. I made a pot of chili. It performed beautifully. Should prove to be worthwhile addition to my cookware. All positives about it being nonstick, easy to clean, held an even cooking temperature, etc. One negative for some people will be it's weight, but that is to be expected with porcelain enamel over cast iron.
I am going to love cooking in this dutch oven, and I think everyone who can lift one should get one!

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Dutch ovens are not only great for cooking, but they're also fantastic serving pieces. Cast iron and ceramic retain heat longer than other materials, so they'll help keep your food warm at the table. Your hungry diners can serve themselves family-style, which means less hopping up and down for you. Just be sure to put a trivet under the dutch oven to protect your table from any heat damage.
