Every bit as good as similar pans costing much more. I recommend this pan to everyone.
Was looking at something more expense but was glad I went with this dutch oven. Great size, cleans up easily even when I burned something a little soaking and then stuff came off really nicely. works well on glass surface (just don't pull across lift and move). Cooks very evenly. Very happy with this product.
I've been using this dutch oven for about a month now and I love it. It browns meats and braises beautifully. It's heavy, but not impossibly so. And it cleans up easily. I haven't done a wine braise yet so I can't speak to the concerns about staining. I've been very happy with this purchase and find it to be a good value compared to the competition.
i have conpaired other pots like this and i do think the price was a little above the norm for it
I got this for my dad for Christmas. 6qt is bigger than I thought! I know he'll really enjoy this!
Have used this just once since receiving it. I made a pot of chili. It performed beautifully. Should prove to be worthwhile addition to my cookware. All positives about it being nonstick, easy to clean, held an even cooking temperature, etc. One negative for some people will be it's weight, but that is to be expected with porcelain enamel over cast iron.
I am going to love cooking in this dutch oven, and I think everyone who can lift one should get one!
This is a beautiful color of blue. I love Lodge products. It is heavy, but I know it will be great for cooking.
Love this dutch oven. Have been wanting a good dutch oven for a long time. It is heavy so you don't want to store it in a bottom cupboard. Does a wonderful job cooking on top of the stove and then in the oven. Cleanup is easy. Good price!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I MADE CHICKEN IN A POT PER THE COOKS COOKING MAGIZANE. MY CHICKEN CAME OUT JUST AS THE RECIPE CLAIMED IT WOULD. PLUS THE LODGE DUTCH OVEN WAS ONE RECOMMEND TO HAVE FOR GOOD RESULTS IN COOKING.
A dear friend gave me a on-line Paula Deen Store coupon for my birthday, which provided the luxury of shopping for whatever I wanted. This type of cookware has been on my wish list for a long time, but more well know brands are just too expensive. After all, one must choose between expensive cookware or new shoes! The pot has been used one time so far to cook fresh green beans, and they turned out good. This pot is heavy as all get out, so I think it will be useful for things you want to cook low and slow for a long time, as well as things you cook on high temperature for a shorter time without burning. My Mom has an old club aluminum pot that has made enough fudge to fill up the Queen Mary, and I think this pot will do well as a fudge pot also. The pot is sitting on the stove because it is too big and heavy to get and out of the cabinet. The red color is a lovely accent to my neutral-color kitchen. Also, if a burgler gets in, I will hit him on the head with this pot and run away.
The price is a little steep but I love this pot. Since I got it I haven't hardly used anything else. Cleans up easily. My kids both want one now too. Love the colors too.
GOOD SIZE. EVEN COOKING. VERY NICE LOOKING
Best chicken 'N dumplings I ever made! Never thought a pot could make such a difference.
I was very disappointed to find "Made in CHINA" written on the box! I bought Lodge, because I thought it was US made. It was not advertised as such. I gave the pot to charity and I hope that it does not "poison" anyone with lead or cadmium! Please add the maker of the product which you are selling.

I love my purchase. Your website was one of the most convenient I have ever used. I mis-typed my address and your customer service was awsome. Will tell everyone I know!
I made my first soup in this dutch oven, and it was wonderful. No burning, kept the soup hot for additional servings, and it could be put in the fridge for storing the leftovers and reheated afterwards. Cleanup was very easy, though, it's heavy, but that's a good thing. It's also an attractive piece of cookware. My husband wanted to use it, so he made a fish chowder, and the dutch oven didn't retain any fishy smell, which I was happy about!
I absolutely love cooking with the dutch oven!!!! not to mention its beautiful to look at! :) Linda, Rhode Island
Compared to the prices they charge at kitchen stores, this is a fantastic dutch oven for a very reasonable price. I cooked an inexpensive type of roast in it (with broth, wine, onions, etc.) the first time and it turned out scrumptious. I will be using this pot a lot.
Shopping experience on your website was very easy and direct. Have used the Dutch Oven and it cooks beautifully and cleans up very nicely.
Absolutely love it! Use it more often than I thought. Goes easily from stove top to oven. Cooks evenly. I plan on buying more sizes. I recommend this dutch oven to everyone! Plus it looks so warm and cozy. Perfect for your favorite comfort food.

Dutch ovens are not only great for cooking, but they're also fantastic serving pieces. Cast iron and ceramic retain heat longer than other materials, so they'll help keep your food warm at the table. Your hungry diners can serve themselves family-style, which means less hopping up and down for you. Just be sure to put a trivet under the dutch oven to protect your table from any heat damage.
