Having bent the cleaver in our knife set, my wife complained, wanting me to straighten it out. Instead I purchased this 6 inch Wusthof for Mother's day. This is a fine piece of steel, it has the weight, and feel of the professional brands I seek. Do not think this one will bend on the cutting surface as the last one. Will be replacing more of my wives knifes in the future with this brand of cutlery.

Good heft/balance, though it depends on your preference (try the Henckels as well in person).
