When I decided to replace my old Corning Ware, I ordered quite a few Emile Henry pieces. I already had a couple of EH items & have been very pleased with them. The only problem I have with this piece is that the website showed it with no handles & it had handles when it arrived. Other than that, I heartily recommend the Emile Henry products. They are attractive & very easy to clean.
Bought one for myself and subsequently another for a friend. Baked goods are wonderful in it and the dish cleans up after soaking with little effort and looks brand new afterwards. Highly recommend Emile Henry products if you haven't tried them yet. The price is worth it.
I really like this dish. The 9x9-in. size is very handy--I use it for prep, cooking, and serving. I have larger Emile Henry dishes but I use them mostly for entertaining as they are large enough to be unwieldy for using and washing when I'm cooking everyday meals. I find myself using this dish much more frequently. The color is a rich brown with undertones of purple. It looks aubergine in some lights.
I love this bake ware because it cooks evenly, never burns on the bottom and cleans up very easily. The black color has more of a matt finish than the other colors, but it doesn't seem to effect the performance.
This is my second one. I love this product because nothing sticks and everything cooks evenly. It is excellent for brownies or what ever else you use it for.
I love this dish and use it often. The green is a beautiful vivid color and the dish cleans up so much easier than my pyrex baking dishes.
I have used this pan several times for casseroles. It is perfect for smaller portions and washes up easily.
This is my first Emile Henry baking dish, and I like it much better than my previous baking dish from another renowned French company. The Henry bakes more evenly and cleans up easier. I use this dish2 to 3 times each week, so it really is used.
