I am a great fan of Emile Henry cookware. I was so impressed with my first pieces (a cerise fait tout and mixing bowls) that I bought every piece of Flame cookware I could find. It's beautiful, fun to use, practical, versatile, cooks evenly, and cleans up easily. The only problems I find with the large size pie dishes are that recipes are geared toward 9
This pan is great. Not only looks beautiful, but useful in many ways.
Much bigger than I thought.
Love the size and depths of this attractive dish. Bakes beautifully and looks good on the table.
Anna

This is a first quality piece of cookware. It you are looking for a 2 quart round pie dish, this will be a great purchase.
When you're making pie dough the key is to work quickly and keep the butter as cold as possible. This will ensure your dough retains pockets of fat as it bakes, which in turn creates the buttery, flaky crust we all love. That's why it's best to make a pie on a cold day, or in a well air-conditioned room.
