The shape/size of the bowl is perfect.
However, some of the beige clay shows through the white glaze on the inside of the bowl.
Great bowl!
by Elizabeth, MD

I spent a long time looking at onion soup bowls before selecting these and I have been very happy with my purchase. I bought one in each color, but the Vert is my favorite. They go from oven to tabletop to dishwasher without missing a beat.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Instead of the using the usual suspects when making a gratinéed dish, why not experiment with some different types of cheeses? Blue cheese or Gruyère will perk up an ordinary pasta dish, and a firm cheese like Manchego (from Spain) will give a kick of flavor and a pleasantly browned topping when grated on top of your dish before it goes in the oven.
