I was very disappointed with this pot. I love Farberware pots and was really looking forward to having a self straining lid. It is designed very poorly. There is a large gap below the lid that allows vegetables or smaller items to fall out. The lip of the lid should have been much deeper or something. Also the pot was not completely round so the lid did not fit down properly. My husband had to bend the pot a bit - it's better, but not perfect. If it wasn't in the rush of Christmas I may have returned it.

Excellent price for a light and sturdy pan, good quality stainless, easy to clean, and probably the best in the straining saucepan arena.
