Just received this skillet and only cooked with it once but I'm happy with it. I like the size and I like the lid and I recommend it based on my limited experience.
I enjoy cooking with this pan. It's just like the one my Mom had for many years.
It heats evenly. It's easy to clean. You can't beat it for the price.
Love this skillet! It is very large skillet - great for cooking several steaks at once. My husband uses it to cook bacon in as he can fit more slices in to cook and it doesn't take him as long as it did in the smaller skillet. Washes up easily and I don't have to keep buying new skillets because like I did when I bought nonstick ones and the coating would start coming off.
I absolutey love the skillet but still think that the price is a bit high. I also was not happy with the delivery time. In this day and age more than a week is too long.
excellent piece of cookware.
I purchased a two piece Farberware skillet. I've been wanting a GOOD stainless steel skillet but thought Farberware would be too expensive. I found a very reasonably priced one on Cooking.com. It's just great. I have several Farberware pots, some over 20 years old, so I knew that was the brand I wanted. So happy that I finally have it. I look forward to more product purchases through cooking.com.

Reducing a sauce? Use a skillet; its larger surface area reduces sauces faster than simmering them in a saucepan.
