I liked this product so much I purchased three of them. They are great for clarifying butter!

Darling pot--if a pot can be
by susan, CA

This pot is so cute that I thought it would be a great Christmas gift for someone who has everything. It is perfect for melting butter & other things that you might want more control over than a microwave provides.

I have purchased this item for myself twice. I use both for different things, one inside for normal sauces or butter and the other outside at the grill. The best recommendation is the one I just purchased, I gave as a gift to my daughter.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Clarified butter is butter that has had the water and milk solids removed so that all that remains is pure butterfat. To make it, simply heat butter on the stovetop until three layers form, then skim off the top and pour out the butterfat, letting the milk solids on the bottom remain in the pan.
