Classic Rotary Grater: White by Zyliss

Was initially skeptical to buy (yet) another plastic cheese grater, have tried and rejected several as weak, awkward and lame. This one by zyliss is none of the above. It is effective on many hardnesses of cheese, cleans easily, dumps the cheese from the center of the cylinder without "spraying" all over the place and cranks smoothly. Worth every penny!

Easy to use, easy to clean, sturdy construction. You just can not beat fresh grated cheese. BTW - the cheese grates very very fine and light.

This makes it so much easier grating Parm/Reggiano or other yummy Italian cheeses.

This rotary grater is slick looking and light weight, but you have to be a heavy weight to squeeze it hard enough to grate the harder cheeses.

This is a really nice grater. It grates easily, cleans up easily, and is sturdy enough that I think it'll be in our kitchen for many years. We're only using it for parmesan cheese, and it works perfectly for that purpose (and any other hard cheese, I imagine).<br><br>I searched for a grater that was manufactured locally, but settled on this one after reading its reviews (and I couldn't find one that was made outside of China). It think this is probably the best hard cheese grater from the options that are currently available.
