This knife not only looks great it also feels great. It has a perfect weight and balance.
Previously purchased the 4 inch Shun paring knife and really have enjoyed it. When the 6 inch Chef's Knife went on sale had to try it and it is definitely the sharpest knife I've ever used. Be extremely careful as this will slice through just about anything with extreme ease.
This knife not only has exceptional looks but it feels expertly balanced in hand. It is not too heavy nor too light. It slices like a dream and I own Kyocera, Henkels and Wustof so I am able to compare the feel of different knives in my hand. I plan on buying the 8-inch Kershaw Shun Classic for my next knife. You won't be disappointed!
This knife is perfect for all of my cutting a chopping. The blade is VERY sharp and I find it to be the perfect size (not too short - not too long). I highly recommend it.
this is quality you can see and feel, the sharpest edge of any knife I ever used including the top german steel, and I own both. I like the way you can use and sharpen the blade right up to hilt. at the first use it was my favorite I can see my self buying others in the future.
