Citrus Juicer: White by Waring

Other than very noisy, it slows and makes a grinding noise as I press on the orange. Not pleasant and I feel like I will burn out the motor. It is easy to clean.

Does not reverse spin for optiomal juicing. There is not even a plastic cover to keep off dust while stored. The is no cord storage hook.

This juicer makes quick work of oranges and lemons. The motor seems very strong (though a little loud), so you can press down to get all the juice. You flip the switch to turn it on, and the reamer rotates whether you are pressing fruit onto it or not. A good feature for getting all the juice from the bowl. The reamer and bowl are all one piece, so little parts can't go down the garbage disposal -- like I did with my old machine. It is dead-simple to operate, nothing that takes an engineering degree. It is easy to keep clean, both the body and the parts. My only concern is that the bottom of the bowl/reamer has a stem that fits down into the body of the machine and with use over time, I could see that distorting or breaking. Maybe. I would not put any part of it into the diswasher. The bowl is sturdy plastic, but I am not convinced that the harsh detergent and hot temps of a dishwasher would not take their toll over time. It has a long, heavy-duty black cord that stores by wrapping it around the base. Despite my stated negatives, I really like this juicer. And oh boy, fresh OJ, you can't beat it.

This juicer is a real value for the money. It has a quiet strong motor which is able to withstand hard use. With normal care it will withstand many years of use.
