CIA Professional Series Blender (64-oz.): Brushed Stainless by Vitamix

I cannot tell you how I agonized trying to justify spending this amount of $$ for a blender. (We are, after all, in a recession). I am a frugal shopper and so considering buying a VitaMix was a big decision. I did my homework, though, and the VitaMix kept beating out the competition, so I took a chance. However, any doubt or guilt I had was long gone once my VitaMix arrived. I use it almost daily. I have made soups, smoothies, etc. I now eat kale, more fruits and veggies, and things I'd never have touched before. I feel better, my weight is better, and I don't crave junk food. I feel nourished and healthy! Cleaning it is a breeze. (Something I hated about a juicer I'd had before). You just fill it halfway with water and add some dish detergent and turn it on. It all rinses out easily. It is big, but I just put the pitcher away and leave the base out if I need things to look less cluttered. The other thing I love is the fact that if I have any foods that are getting soft, etc. they just get tossed in. I waste next to nothing now. It has definitely saved on my food bill. If you're stuck on whether or not to get this, just think of the money you'll save by investing in your health. Prevention is the best medicine. I'd recommend the VitaMix to anyone!!

This appliance is the one piece of equipment that cannot leave my countertop as it is in use many times per day. <br><br>I am a raw foodist while my son is meat & potatoes, so it's important that I manage both menus and that we can eat at the same time. The convenience and time saving aspect of the Vita-Mix is so impressive that I wish everyone could own one!<br><br>Cleaning is a snap!<br><br>If I had to find a down side to it, I'd have to say that I wouldn't mind it being quieter when on high speed, but when I demand that performance from my car, it's not any quieter either..lol<br><br>Best kitchen investment I've ever made!!!

I've bought and burned up many blender/smoothie makers before finding the Vita-Mix. It makes a smoothie out of frozen strawberries in 30 seconds! This is the best product I've found.

If you are looking for one exceptional, versatile kitchen appliance, do yourself a favor and purchase a Vita-Mix. The sky is the limit on the number of ways you will find to use it every day, and it makes the best smoothie you could ever want for breakfast! A great value, and the manufacturer really stands behind their product with a 7-year warranty.

I've used it for mostly making smoothies so far and it works wonderfully, easy to clean, very powerful, not obnoxiously loud, and has not problem with ice and frozen bananas. It comes with a huge recipe book that i've yet to delve into, but there looks to be a lot of interesting options I would never have thought of. Its quite expensive for a blender obviously but the materials seem pretty tough and durable. Its entirely plastic but has good, heavy weight that makes it feel durable, if that makes sense.

We have a smoothie every morning. It makes it so easy to give the kids the fruits and vegetables they need each day. So easy to make and clean up. We love it.

OK, the Vitamix is not inexpensive. That's a fact and, sadly, i let that fact keep me from buying one for far too long! Now that I have one, I use it almost every day, I have made smoothies, juices, soups, fantastic salad dressings and sauces in it. In a short amount of time it has become an essential part of my daily work in the kitchen and I am grateful for it.

I am amazed and continue to be amazed at the power and brilliance of this tool. Can make simple and easy recipes taste like you cooked all day. Absolutely great tool

I LOVE this Blender!! I have used it everyday since I got it. It can handle whole fruit and veggie smoothies, soup, dips and makes killer blended margaritas. Best of all, clean up is a breeze.

The Vitamix is amazing. I love it. Everything I hoped it would be. I mainly use it for juices and smoothies and am so impressed. I love that I am able to get every last bit of nutrients out of all the fruits and veggies now that I have a vitamix.<br><br>I was intimidated by it the first time, but it is easy to use.

Great product. Wish we had gotten it years ago. A great way to stay healthy.

I LOVE this blender! I needed something for making apple cider with the last couple of bushels of apples from our orchard and didn't want to fire up the cider press. I worked this blender really hard right out of the box. The power of this blender is great!<br><br><br>

I have used this blender every day since I got it! I absolutely love it. It has been great for hiding vegetables in things so my two young children will get their veggies without even knowing it. I have also enjoyed making very smooth and creamy green smoothies. I would definitely recommend it!

I love this Vita-Mix. It is awesome. The kids were drinking spinach in their smoothie this morning. Clean up is so easy.
