I wanted a simple and elegant flatware set for every day use. These pieces are solid and heavy and feel great in your hands, like they would last for years and years.

The style and design of this flatware is perfect. My only complaint is that the particular set I received from Cooking.com wasn't as nice looking or as uniform in shape as my original Cambridge Chop set. The stamp on the flatware was also different. My original set said Stainless Steel Cambridge and was fully embedded/embossed into the actual metal. The new set is just stamped in black on the underside

I was looking for some everyday flatware that still looks elegant and stylish. I was also looking for something that had some weight to it and didn't feel flimsy. I got everything I was looking for in this set. I'm very happy with it and will probably buy more so I can replace all of the flatware I had been using previously.

I was looking for a simple set of flatware for everyday use. Mostly for breakfast and lunch since we use the "good" silverware for dinner. This set is great except that it lacks the luster of my 18/8 set of flatware. It can be dull at times but it does look great fresh out of the dishwasher. Great value for the price.
