Do not accept imposters--had a BonJour previously and it was great. I dropped it from a long distance on concrete and busted the handle. Ordered another brand and was disappointed after one use. I now have my second BonJour

I love my new pot. I always had a double boiler with my cookware set but when I got a new set I didn't have one. I started looking for the pots and it bothered me that I would have to buy 2 more pots. I was excieted when I bought this one and wow it is so easy to use. I used it for Christmas candy. It heats up quickly yet if I need to cool it off a little I turn down the heat and it cools off a lot faster than a regular 2 pot double boiler. Also, when I'm stirring my new double boiler I don't have the top pot spinning around nor steam coming out in any direction it wants. There is a knob by the handle that will let steam out (if it up hight), I know where it is coming from and can protect myself easier. Now when I'm through with it, it's easier to store. I love it.

    Love this Product!

I have never had a double boiler before due to the space it takes up. I recently started making my own yogart which means I really needed a double boiler. This product is JUST THE TICKET! I spend a good portion of the year on a boat so space is a big issue. This pot not only takes up a small amount of space-but is easy to find since it is one one piece. I have used this for about a month and absolutely love it.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Egg-based emulsified sauces such as Hollandaise tend to break for one of two reasons; either it got too hot, or the butter was added too quickly (meaning it got too cold). If your sauce breaks, add a splash of water to a pan and drizzle the broken sauce in drop by drop, whisking constantly, until re-emulsified. For next time, remember that keeping a consistent temperature is key.
