A great gadget

You may not need to use this every single day, but when you do, you will be SO glad you have it. It works great on pitting cherries and olives. So well in fact, it was the entertainment of the moment w/family gathered around to see it in action b/c it's an unusual item and works so well. Don't buy olives from the can/jar anymore...the fresh, loose varieties are far better. Now you can improve your recipes with better taste and won't have to work hard at it. Recommend highly.

when you have young grandchildren, it is easier to use the cherry pitter in stead of cutting the seed out with a knife. great and quick

I bought this for my daughter who hates taking the pits out of the greek olives, I bought one for myself. its great I did a whole jar of olives with no stress in just a few minutes. 5 people who where at my house that day couldnt wait to get on line to order for not only them selves but other family members, I also know that I saw them in the store in the summer for $24.99 I saved 10 dollars on the two I bought.
Thank you

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When summer fruit is at its peak, it's simply too luscious and delectable to mess around with. For a quick and elegant dessert, serve cherries, berries, peaches and other fresh seasonal fruit with a dollop of crème fraiche (a kind of cultured cream) or whipped cream. Voila, dessert is served.
