    It was exactly as pictured, except for some reason I thought the carafe was made of glass. There I was thinking I'd have to be extra careful not to ever drop it, and .... what a relief, it's plastic!!

    I purchased to go along with the salad spinner, my daughter likes trying new things (receipes, salads, etc) So I got it and a salad spinner.

    Salad dressing mixer

    It is a bit much to have a salad dressing blender battery-run but it works fine. Would I have preferred it without batteries--Yes. However, it is difficult to find plain salad dressing ontainers to prepare tour own dressings. I DO like the fact it has salad dressing recipes printed on the bottle b/c I don't want to hv to keep up with the booklet w/recipes in it.
