disappointed that knife was not as sharp as I was expecting
The Wustof Chef's Knife is the best all-around knife in the kitchen that I know of to use. For years I put up with using my paring knife, but now that I have a decent tool I can tell what I was missing in the correct blade for the job.
I have a good number of specialty knives, but I do find myself going back to this one most often. It's a great size, and has a good weight for chopping and slicing.
