    Versatile product

I bought it to hold recipes, but it works great for holding my music sheets, pictures that I use during painting, and papers that I use to type from. I needed this a long time ago.

    Serves the purpose

I really LIKE the cookbook holder. There are a couple of things that keep me from LOVING it. One is I wish they had made the base black instead of white, but that it just a picky thing on my part. second is there is a little bit of fumbling when assembling the piece that is on the back side of the book. The front plastic piece is very large & does protect a large section of the cookbook, but not the outsides. The base is rather large & takes up quite a bit of counter space. I do love the pull out charge that converst tsp to tbs, oz, cup, ml etc. I have used that several times when reducing or enlarging the size of a recipe. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Do not particularly care for the plastic piece to prop the book up. Seems a little cheap. All in all the product works fine for the design.

It's always tough to keep track of recipes that you want to make from each cookbook. Instead of trying to remember recipe names, or filling each book with sticky notes, make a personal "index" on a piece of paper and store it in the inside front cover. That way, when you're browsing through a cookbook you can write down the name and page number of a recipe that catches your eye, and you can easily refer back to your index instead of flipping through the book to find it.
