why are they so expensive?
by Karan, IN

While I really like the great look of my new canisters I am dismayed that they were soooo expensive. Hopefully this will be the only set I will need for the remainder of my adult life and thus I will get my moneys worth.

I thought the canisters for the money would have been made of a better grade of stainless steel. In the photo they look like$50 canisters, when out of the package they appear to be $19 canister set. Definitely disappointed. If I would have picked them up in a regular box store I would have returned them.

I made the purchase for a christmas present for my daughter-in-law but I was very pleased with their looks and value for my money. I will definitly recommend cooking.com to my friends and family.

Canister set looks much more sturdy than it really is. Metal was very thin and discolored in spots. Looks like something you'd find at a discount store. Was generally disappointed that Food Network would sell this product. Not as large as expected--largest one would not hold a bag of flour. Would not recommend to any other shoppers.

Too Light and Hard to Open
by Nicholas, MI

Overall, they are plenty large. You can store whatever you want in them and it's nice be able to see how full the container is from the outside. However, without a handle, and having at thin top, it can be extremely difficult to open the top. They are also very lightweight, which makes them easy to carry around. But, if you have something light in them like pasta or dog treats, you have to hold down the base to even be able to open them. Overall, not bad quality, just seems like a bad design.
