Very disappointed in the manner in which this product was packed for shipping. Also, it was scratched in quite a few places on the silver part of the turntable. It was a Christmas gift for someone - she has said that it works pretty well.
Beautifully constructed and sturdy. Much better than the plastic turntables which tend to be wobbly. Makes frosting cakes a breeze...I don't know how I've managed to go for so long without it!
If you are serious about cake decorating this turntable is the perfect investment. This is just like what the professionals use.
This turntable was exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy, weighted (base and table made of metal) and smooth turning. It has none of the bells and whistles of the other turntables, such as being able to tilt or having a slip-resistant padding, but for me, those things just increase the probability of mis-function.

For something that is going to last and get the job done, this is definitely what you want.
In the reviews on the site it said that the turntable was delivered with scratches and it was also a little bent. Instructions on care and cleaning were not included(i.e. dishwasher safe?). I don't feel these were so much as a shipping issue but more of a product quality control issue.
If you've ever tried frosting a cake with a regular dinner knife or rubber spatula, you'll understand how frustrating it is when you don't have the proper tools. If you're serious about baking homemade cakes, invest in an offset spatula to help you navigate the faces, corners, and layers of the cake like a pro, taking away the difficult straight angle of a regular spatula.
