I purchased this product for the color. When I recieved it the color was not what I wanted. However, the knife is good.
Love the color. Nice balance slightly limited abilities due handle and blade being glued together. Other than that would buy again if other colors were available, still a good buy.
Purchase the knife as gag gift thinking it was purple it's move of mauve color it has good balance and holds it's edge for the price no complaints

Actually just bought two more of these to give stocking stuffers for friends learning to cook,
Very sharp, easy to handle. There is a bit of an odd angle to the blade that I haven't quite gotten used to yet. It's a great knife though.
This may not be your $200 Japanese sushi knife or anything, but it was only $15, it's pink (come on), comfortable to use, and the blade is super thin/sharp. I use it to chop things like herbs and vegetables. I'd avoid things like large potatoes, squash, pumpkins, etc., as the blade is thin and glued into the handle. My only complaint was the size of the packaging it came in. It was not very green of Food Network to send me a small knife in a huge box. I will definitely think twice about ordering from them again. However, given that the review is of the product, not the packaging, I still give it big thumbs up for the price!!!
