Very quiet and gives a great grind. Looking forward to the ease of cleaning with the removable burr.

This is convenient and easy to use, but it will NOT do a fine ground at all. I had to regrind it in my old blade grinder to get a fine ground. Good thing I kept it. I was very disappointed in this burr grinder and Krups in general.

I have this product for only one week and so far it is excellent. THere will be no more guessing at how long I should grind the coffee for a particular pot.

This grinder does not work properly. Each time I press the button to grind, it does so for 1-2 seconds then kicks off before it grinds the amount I have selected. I thne have to wait until the grinder resets itself, press the grind button agaiin. I have to keep repeating this process to grind any amount of coffee. So the entire concept of grinding a set amount is out the window. I have to measure ground coffee for the amount I want to brew which usually means I have grounds left over. I will never buy another Krups product again.

The grinder is compact and fits nicely on the counter beside a coffee maker. The ability to regulate the grind and the amount each time makes this an easy and necessary tool for good coffee.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
