Great for home, office or wherever fine coffee is served, this burr coffee grinder offers exceptional results every time, every place. Choose from any of the 16 settings (four each for extra fine, fine, regular and coarse) using the commercial grade, solid conical steel burrs that precisely grind your roasted beans. A gear reduction motor works slowly with little noise; the reduced static and heat buildup produce more flavorful results. It holds 8.8-oz. of beans, and features a timer than can be set from 5 to 60 seconds. There's even a Pulse setting for a quick whir. Comes complete with cleaning brush and measuring scoop. And for ease of cleaning, the grinding wheel is completely removable.
We have purchased this grinder along with a Delonghi Bar40 espresso maker and are very pleased with both products thus far. The grinder does a quality job and the grind comes out perfect every time. We have not had a problem with this unit yet and are very pleased with the results so far. I did some research before purchasing the product as well as the Delonghi Bar40. For the price, they are both quality products. I did not read a bad review for either one of these products and would recommend them to others. They are great for first time espresso brewers like myself.
This coffee mill is very efficient. This model is much quieter than my previous Solis. I am enjoying this appliance daily.
I looked at many reviews for conical burr coffee grinders, which come in a wide range of prices. This one was a reasonable price, in fact at the low end of the scale, and received good reviews. I'm very happy with the grinder, and think it was an excellent value. The conical burr really does make a difference in the flavor of the coffee. I read some complaints that the grinder is too loud and static electricity causes some of the grounds to get on the counter when the container is removed. People with those issues must be very sensitive, because I find the grinder to be relatively quiet (you are grinding up hard coffee beans, after all) and there is no more mess than any of the other methods for getting coffee into a pot or filter. The grinder also seems well made and substantial. For the price, I think you'll be very happy with this grinder.
5 times more expensive than my old coffee mill, but i didn't realize the difference this quailty would make in the grind. it's so consistent. all the grounds are the same size--no powder. very pleased.
I bought this grinder so my coffee grinds would be a uniform small size. I didn't really expect the coffee to taste better--but it does! Even family and friends who didn't know about the new grinder commented on my coffee. The unit functions as advertised, and is easy to use. I'm very glad I bought it.

When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
