I just love this board. The maple texture and smooth cutting surface both make food prep a wonderful experience.

I've been thinking about buying a high-quality wooden cutting board for years and finally splurged for this Boos Block. I haven't been disappointed. The board is very sturdy and great for chopping meat and slicing veggies. The gravy channel should be helpful for carving roast meat and poultry. The surface is actually very easy to wash. One thing to keep in mind is that this board is VERY thick, at 1.5". The upside of the thickness is that the board does not slide around. The downside is that it is very heavy and a bit unwieldy when washing in the sink. Overall a great buy.

I have been waiting a long time to purchase a top of the line cutting board, and this is it! A perfect size and not too heavy. I use one side for meats and the other for veggies and herbs. Love .t!

Great board - good size, good for the knives. I'd like one this size in the butcher-block style (maybe a little thicker).

I recently moved to a new home with all granite counter tops. Since I really like the granite AND my knives, I ordered this fabulous cutting board. I love it! I also ordered the Mystery Oil, but haven't needed to use it yet. This is a great buy!

Not as heavy as the price would indicate. It slides when trying to cut anything, even celery. I use it but have it braced and blocked by things that keep it from sliding. I'm looking into buying a heavier one by another manufacturer. If you need a light weight board that slides easy this is fine.
