The best coffee grinder ever

I shopped for a quality grinder at an affordable price and I believe I found it in this one. While I don't grind for espresso, I am very happy with the results for my daily coffee needs.
The machine works very well, it is easy to clean and does not leave a mess on the countertop. These three things matter most to me. you can dial for the grind you want and dial for the number of cups, you can also just hit the on off switch to stop if you put in more coffee or selected more cups than you need at the moment.

Because of clever design, this coffee grinder gives a uniform, cool grind in little time and the simplified design makes it less expensive to manufacture, so it is a terrific value. The appearance is really very nice and the size is suited to the countertop. It looks good next to my Krups Mokabrew. I am very pleased with this product. There are a few minor negatives, however.

Some reviews noted the grinder is quiet but I found it was almost as noisy as the little impact grinder I used to use. Coffee grinding still wakes up late-sleepers.

I also found that, during grinding, every once in awhile the burr gets disengaged causing the motor to race, but when this happens, it can be fixed quickly by turning off the grinder, twisting the burr slightly counterclockwise and turning it back on. It's a minor trouble.

Very quiet and gives a great grind. Looking forward to the ease of cleaning with the removable burr.

Does a damn good job.

I'm happy, the wife is happy. It cleans easly. The grind selector is too easy to move from the desired setting. I needs a spring or something to hold it in place.

I love this product. It is just what I expected to get for the price. The design is exemplary. However, the calibrations aren't very accurate. The 6 cup settings yeilds enough ground coffee to make 12 cups of coffee and I like my coffee very strong. Owners will have to learn where to set the switch regardless of the printed setting.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
