Bacon Press (9-in.) by Norpro

I love this thing! Slam your meat into the skillet and put this press on top. It is that simple. Heat and pressure does the rest- kind of like the way nature makes diamonds. This press is huge, like a manhole cover, and really does the job. I even use it to cook vegetables like green peppers and onions. I suggest that anyone who likes to cook own this bacon press. It rocks!

rusts, so I have to remember to dry immediatey after use and washing...otherwise it's decent value. I would prefer it to not have grooves, but it does...I only use it as a burger press

I love this product! It fits very nicely in any round skillet and it does much more than keep bacon flat while cooking. I also use it to cook pork loin and chicken breasts & thighs in recipes where you need to pound the meat out thinner. It is great for "browning" meats and fresh vegetables too. Just make sure you do as the directions say... season the press before you use it.

I'd never used a bacon press until staying with friends in the Great Smokies. Then I knew I'd have to have one, but finding one was difficult. Cooking.com to the rescue again!! While not quite as heavy as the one I'd used in NC, this one is a great value for the money--and certainly does the job to fit my needs.

This bacon press is perfect size, perfect shape, is exceptional with the bacon but I am finding it has so many other uses, I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago! I expecially love it for making quesadillas!
