Excellent toaster! Great for bagels as well as bread. Attractive looking on the kitchen counter, easy to keep clean.

I bought this toaster after a very disappointing purchase of a $100 Cuisinart 4 slice toaster, which quickly became a 2-slice toaster just months after purchase when one handle broke, and died entirely before I'd had it 2 years. The T-Fal does a fair job of toasting. It cost $79. I have not been able to find a 4-slice toaster that toasts EVENLY. With the short life span they all seem to have, I hesitate to purchase a very high end toaster ($200-$500). This toaster is a bit larger than I'd like, but at least the sloped shape makes it appear less boxy, and since mine sits under cabinets, the shape also allows for easy access to the slots. I like the levers that lift the toast so you don't have to dig with fingers or utensils to remove a small piece of bread.

Quite possibly the perfect toaster. Others have been inconsistent. This one's great, especially w/ toasting bagels (warm on the outside, nicely toasted on the inside). Design is cool too

The Avante toaster is awesome. Large slots for bagels. Toasts perfectly brown and super quick. Highly recommend!

We needed a 4 slice toaster. So that's all we looked at. This toaster is a very nice one, we use it for toasting bread, bagels, English muffins & crumpets. Personally I like the product. I hope it lasts a long time. Tired of buying one thing after the other. Coffee pots are the worst. Toasters are pretty bad also. Some of them will go on working, some don't work after 12 months. I do believe that this product will last for a good long while. It also makes all of what you toast evenly toasted. I like that. The slanted front where the toast goes in, is also a great feature, and the lever on each toasting side to raise lower pieces works great also. That's my review.
