Great pan! Terrific for stir-frying and sauteeing. Non-stick surface lets food just slid out.

Not a fry pan
by Lawrence, VT

I purchased this product looking for a 12 inch fry pan and when it arrived it looks more like a wok than a fry pan. I kept it as the price was moderate and I could find a use for it but it is not a flat bottomed 12 inch fry pan. The actual fry area is about seven inches and I was disappointed when it arrived. I am using it but would not suggest it for anyone who wants to cook bacon, ham, pancakes etc. as there is not enough room in the pan for more that one or two of those items.

TOO HEAVY to manage!
by Doris, MI

I had to return this pan as soon as I unpacked it. It was entirely to heavy for me to manage even cold and empty. I saw disaster lerking if it were hot and full of food. I loved the idea of the rounded bottom but the weight far surpassed the usefulness.

I like the weight and the see-thru lid. I have the similar pan by Rachel Ray and I love it. I use it nearly every day. It's very easy to clean and cooks evenly.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When you've bought some delicious fresh corn on the cob, don't shuck it until you're ready to cook it. Choose ears that feel dense and heavy for their size, and have soft silks that aren't matted or dry. The husk should be moist and green, not yellow.
