Advanced Nonstick Skillet Set (2-pc.) by Anolon

I had used Anolon Aluminum Cookware for quite some time and was particularly pleased when I saw how well those pieces did on my new glass top range. However, I was surprised when I read the instructions that accompanied this recently ordered 2 piece open skillet twin pack set and discovered that this type of cookware was not recommended for dishwasher use; and, in fact, its use in a dishwasher was sufficient to void the warranty. While disappointed with this finding, I am not sure that this limitation would have been sufficient to cancel out my otherwise satisfaction with the product.

I recieved the 10 & 12 inch avalon, and it was not as heavy, and sturdy as the 8 inch I had purchased months earlier. It appeared that this recent order pans where not as thick & sturdy as the 8 inch I had purchased prior, and it apperaed that the guage of thickness was not as thick, and the weight was lighter tyan the 8 inch purchased earlier. I guess all things are cutting back.

These are really excellent pans.

I bought this for a gift for my dad for Father's Day. He used the Anolon skillets at my house when cooking breakfast one morning when he was in town visiting and just went on and on about how great they were. So, we're both happy customers! The only downside is you can't stick them in the dishwasher...I don't put my pots and pans in the dishwasher, so it's not a big deal for me, but many people do.

LOVE this product
