Saute succulent pieces of meat or fresh vegetables then give a toss as they cook - this straight-sided pan keeps contents inside all the while. Turn the heat down, cover with the lid and let the sauce simmer slowly until done. From Anolon's Advanced line, this 12-in. saute pan holds 5 quarts and comes with a clear, tempered glass lid that's break-resistant. The pan features a DuPont Autograph 2 nonstick coating inside and out for lasting performance, superior durability and ease of cleaning. The extra-thick, hard-anodized aluminum means fast, even heat distribution. The 18/10 stainless steel and silicone rubber handle is molded to fit your grip, is soft and cool to the touch even while on the stovetop and is riveted to the pan for maximum durability. A helper handle facilitates lifting when the pan is full. Oven-safe to 400 degrees.
Wonderful pan. This is actually the second one I've bought. Had to send the first one (purchased in March) back to Anolon because the rubber on the handle is loose.
I'm so happy that I purchased this product. It's easy to clean, wonderful to use & looks fab! Great Mother's Day gift to myself.
love the pan hate the price.
It works as advertised, and works well. What else is there to say?
This is one great pan. It is large and deep enough to accommodate braising as well as frying. I'm very happy to have it. The quality of the pan is outstanding and I expect to have it for many years to come.
Toasted nuts are a simple way to give any dish a huge flavor boost, but they can be easy to burn in the oven. Instead, try "toasting" them by quickly sauteeing on the stovetop.
