Product Description:

This handy knife makes short work of peeling small lemons and limes, zipping through Kaiser rolls and baguettes, and slicing German sausage—in addition to doing a superb job of slicing tomatoes. In other words, this is the perfect knife for sweeping through double-textured foods with hard exteriors and delicate interiors. Made of nearly-rigid, scallop-edged, no-stain steel, this 5½"-long blade has a nice, two-pronged tip for spearing and transferring new slices from board to plate; its full tang contributes balance and leverage.

This knife is great. I can slice my tomatoes or other soft veggies as thin or thick as I want. I really like this knife a lot..

Best Knife - Not just for tomatoes

This knife is the best for cutting tomatoes and breads. The length makes it versatile. It is very sharp and that was very important to me. It is a good knife to have as you are building your good knife collection slowly.
