Having traveled across the country to help everyday people with their cooking challenges, Tyler Florence has developed a unique perspective on how Americans like to eat and cook today. This famous chef, host and cookbook author has always aimed to use bright flavors and fresh food in his simple and delicious recipes. Tyler got his start in the culinary world after studying culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University, when he relocated to New York to hone his skills under the tutelage of some of the city's premier chefs, and then helped to open the acclaimed restaurant Cafeteria. In addition to his hosting duties on Food Network, Tyler is also the author of five cookbooks.
